SWOOP Energy recovers batteries from electric vehicles
At the end of their life in the vehicle, used batteries are sent for recycling while they still have at least 70% of their initial storage capacity. They can therefore still be used as an energy storage solution and have their life extended by several years.
SWOOP Energy tests the batteries
In order to know the residual storage capacity of the batteries and to ensure that they have a sufficient level of safety to be reused, we carry out various tests in our workshops. These tests allow us to determine a State of Health (SOH) and a State of Safety (SOS) in order to remove batteries that do not meet our selection criteria.
The batteries are then reconditioned
Once tested, the battery modules are connected to their intelligent management system (BMS) adapted to their new use. The module is then integrated into a case to protect it against shocks and facilitate its handling on the generator.
